Paphos
Paphos once the ancient capital of Cyprus sits sedately on the west coast of the island. There's a strong British influence to be found all over the island and those perhaps fearful of driving on the 'wrong' side of the road need not to worry as Cypriots follow the British left hand driving style. Paphos is a quiet town less geared up for nightclubs and 'garage sessions' but, there are great wedding venues to choose from plus a raft of places to celebrate afterwards, be it in a local taverna, restaurant, or hotel. Good clean beaches excellent water sports, and easy driving to visit local wineries to sample their wares. Archaeological delights abound, so much so that the entire island of Cyprus is now regarded as a world heritage site.
The goddess Aphrodite was born here, that's why the island is described as being 'the place for Love. Mind you this lady was a teeny bit naughty boasting hundreds of lovers, she headed up a cult which relished free sex and other less salubrious goings on- but, she did seem to enjoy herself. This is one element that's guaranteed in Paphos and that's enjoyment - for here you have everything you need to make your wedding perfect in every respect.
A wedding aboard a luxury yacht
Standing 'Titanic' like at the prow of a luxury yacht arms entwined watching the sunset over the Mediterranean, this could be you, now married and setting sail on a new life that hopefully will never weigh anchor in rough waters. Weddings aboard our elegant craft have always proved popular, with guests enjoying the fine mix of good food wine and music as the boat laps gently at the harbours edge.
