Italy paperwork

Documentation Required: Duration of stay in Italy is 4 days prior to your wedding with the exception of Sicily where it is 7 working days.
Passport copy of both Bride and Groom’s, certified by Solicitor *full 10 year passport valid for 6 months.
Full Birth Certificates of Bride and Groom *all birth certificates must be the full version and printed not hand written.
Certificate of No Impediment To Marriage for the Bride and Groom * This document confirms that you are free to marry and can be issued in your local Registrars office and must be issued within 3 months prior to your wedding date.
Decree Absolute / Divorce certificate if required *please note that any divorced woman must wait 300 days from the issue date if the certificate before remarrying.
Deep Poll Certificate *If any party has changed names
Adoption Certificates if any parties was adopted.
Death Certificate * If any parties is a widower, a death certificate is required.
In Italy you must use your Certificate of Impediment to obtain an Italian Certificate which will be issued by the British Counsel in Italy.
Please note we can arrange all translations and paperwork for you *additional costs will be occurred and all documents must be sent to ourselves at least 12 weeks before the date of the wedding.
