Cyprus paperwork

Duration of stay 3 days prior to your wedding and wedding certificates are issued straight away after your wedding.
Passport copy of both Bride and Groom's, certified by Solicitor *full 10 year passport valid for 6 months.
Full Birth Certificates of Bride and Groom *all birth certificates must be the full version and printed not hand written.
Original Affidavit * This document confirms that you are free to marry and can be issued in your local Registrars office and must be issued within 6 months prior to your wedding date and must state the following your full address, a statement that you are a citizen of the UK, a statement that you reside at your stated address, your current occupation, a statement that you currently single and are free to marry, your parents full names and occupations, your place of birth as stated on your birth certificate, your date of birth and your passport number.
Decree Absolute / Divorce certificate if required
Deep Poll Certificate *If any party has changed names
Adoption Certificates if any parties was adopted.
Death Certificate * If any parties is a widower, a death certificate is required.
Copies of your 2 witness passports *this is only for your town hall appointment, if you are travelling alone then we are more than happy to be your wedding witnesses.
Original Baptism / Christening Certificate *this is only for Anglican and Catholic weddings.
Catholic weddings in Cyprus can be arranged if:
Both the Bride and Groom have not previously been married, either the Bride or Groom are Catholic and both Bride and Groom have been baptized. You must also inform your Catholic Priest of their intent to marry abroad. The Priest will then view both parties and provide them with the correct documents for the local Catholic Priest in Rhodes
No paperwork is required to be sent to us before you travel however if you wish we can arrange to check everything for you to put your mind at ease.
